Care

Peridot sits at 6.5–7 on the Mohs hardness scale and is best kept away from harsh chemicals including bleach, cleaning products, and chlorine, which can affect both the stone and the sterling silver setting. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners with peridot as the stone can be sensitive to vibration. Polish the setting regularly with a Desiderate silver jewellery cleaning cloth to keep it bright. Store in a pouch or box when not in use.
