Lapis lazuli is a softer, slightly porous stone, so a little extra love keeps it looking royal.

• Take your ring off before the gym, gardening, cleaning or anything where it could be knocked or scratched.
• Remove it before swimming, showering and washing up, and keep it away from perfume, hand cream and harsh chemicals.
• Wipe the lapis gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Don't soak it, and no ultrasonic or steam cleaners.
